Jarrett Osborn - Owner
Jarrett has been in the wine business since 1990.  He passed his Level 2 Sommelier Exam in 2012.  He worked as a cellar monkey at Topolos Winery in 1998, a cellar rat at Horton Vineyards in 1999, and the tasting room manager and wine dinner coordinator at Mirassou Vineyards from 1997 to 1998. He has been at Riverwalk Wine & Spirits since 1998. His current favorite wines: Barolos, Barbarescos, and old-school Spanish whites.


Jerry Weiss

Jerry Weiss - General Manager
Jerry, originally from New Jersey, moved to the Vail Valley in 1979 for one year of skiing.  35 years later Jerry has been involved with some of the valley's best restaurants with design, start-up, and management.  Jerry has spent a fair amount of time in Napa Valley where he earned his cellar masters diploma with the International Wine Academy and a level 2 Sommelier certificate from the Court of Master Sommeliers.  His passion for climbing, skiing, snowboarding, and biking have taken home to 25 countries around the world.  Oh, he likes to drink wine and margaritas too!




Josh Ashton 

Josh is an Atlanta native who has lived and worked all over the US from Hawaii to the East Coast.  Now settled in the Vail Valley, he enjoys the art and study of fermentation.  Josh is a certified sommelier, specialist of spirits, and is currently studying for the certified cicerone exam.  Whether you are new to wine, beer, or spirits, or an old friend, ask Josh to help you find a beverage you will enjoy.  Also, see him to find out what is blowing up in the Craft Beer world!





Deegan Lindquist


From Indianapolis, Indiana, Gary moved to Vail in 1994.  His long time interest in "all things wine" brought him to Riverwalk Wine and Spirits in April of 2011.  Shortly thereafter he passed his level I Sommelier course through the court of Master Sommeliers. Recently he's been drinking Pinot Noir,  and some of his favorites are the 2007 Hartford Lands End Pinot, and Evening Land 2010 Pinot.  "Stop in and let's talk wine".

Kristen Beau Howard
Kristen Beau has been involved with the beverage industry for over ten years.  She is a craft beer fanatic and has a fervor for wines from around the World, especially white.  She values sustainable, organic, and local farming, eating, and drinking: "local food and drink, local community, local economy".  If she’s not exploring a new wine or beer, she's probably busy finishing up her Doctorate Degree, or enjoying the active Colorado lifestyle of skiing, golf, mountain biking, hiking and the Vail Valley community. 



Brett McCaffrey 
Brett moved to the Vail Valley from Martha's Vineyard off the coast of Massachussetts.  He has been in the restaurant and retail side of the wine business since 2009 where his passion for wine took off.  His favorate wines are rich extracted Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Nior, and bright acidic domestic Sauvignon Blaunc.  He is ready to assist you in pairing the right wine with the perfect dinner!
